On the day of your appointment try to avoid large meals. Feeling full could be uncomfortable for you and prevent you from completely relaxing.
Keep yourself hydrated before and after your massage, this will help you to flush out toxins and aide in your recovery.
Try to avoid alcohol and caffeine consumption before and after your massage. Alcohol and caffeine are both dehydrating which could cause headache and other undesirable symptoms.
If you have booked a facial massage it’s best to avoid wearing foundation during your appointment. I will do a basic cleanse before applying oil, however, traces of makeup could result in blocked pores.
If you have long hair you may prefer to tie your hair back so it is not tickling your face. If you enjoy the amazing benefits of having oil through your hair then I can still do this with your hair in a loose ponytail.
Wear comfortable clothes on your appointment day, it will be easier for you when dressing /undressing and will help you to relax after your treatment.
Before you undress for your massage I will leave the room so you can undress in complete privacy. A cover will be provided on the massage couch for you to cover yourself and keep warm.
During your massage your body will be covered with only the area being massaged exposed. When turning over on the massage couch I will keep your cover in place for you.
When undressing for your massage you only need to undress to your comfort level. If you are having a back and shoulder massage you may wish to remove your bra, this allows me to access the upper back and shoulder area without getting oil and lotion on your bra. Your modesty will be maintained at all times. All other underwear must be Kept on.
I will check in with you during your massage to make sure you are comfortable. If you want the pressure adjusting at any time just let me know.
The most important thing to remember is this is your massage, it’s your special time for you to just relax and unwind allowing you to get the most benefits from your massage.
